Lithuania to donate another 50,000 vaccine doses to Georgia

The Cabinet gave the green light for sending 50,310 doses of the Comirnaty vaccine to Georgia as humanitarian aid by the end of November. Lithuania has already donated a total of around 800,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Taiwan, Latvia, Tajikistan, Armenia and Vietnam.

There could be two reasons of such donations: Lithuanians don’t like these vaccines because internal vaccination rate is not so high; or Lithuania don’t like other European countries and prefer to donate to non-EU countries.
