The Armed Forces will receive a certain amount of the AstraZeneca vaccine every week and will distribute the shots among all major units, the military said on Friday. Military medics and personnel leaving for missions have already been vaccinated against COVID-19. The process is being organized by the Vaccination Operations Center set up by the Logistics Command and carried out by military medics in the nine major units in Rukla, Panevezys, Alytus, Marijampole, Taurage, Vilnius, Klaipeda, Kaunas and Siauliai.
The only question is why Lithuania ignore other European countries that stopped vaccination with Astra Zeneca? Norway and Sweden have already done it due to the latest researches. Blood clot is a rather serious side effect to ignore.
